Health is a meeting point of biological and the social issues, as well as, the individual and the community characteristics. Health is a means for personal and collective fulfillment; it¿s, therefore, an index of the success achieved by a society and its government institutions. Like the society, health is dynamic and changes over time. During the last half century, the growth of the population and the changes in their lifestyles and activities¿ has impacted in health transforming the burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases. Population Health has been defined as "the health outcomes of a group of people, including the distribution of those outcomes within the group." It is an approach to health that aims to improve the health of an entire population. An important step in achieving this goal is to reduce health inequities among population groups. Population Health tries to take a step beyond the individual attention of conventional medicine and public health to address a wide range of factors that affect health at the population level, such as environment, social structure, distribution resource etc.
